FULL SHIP CHARTER GUIDELINES- Our vessels are occasionally available for charter.  Please review the guidelines below for information about our charter program.  Deposit Requirements: · If the charter is booked more than one year in advance, we require a deposit 10% of the charter price upon contract signing. This deposit is non-refundable. · If the charter is booked within one year and is on one of our scheduled departures, we require a 25-50% non-refundable deposit, depending on how close in the sailings are. · If the charter is for a non-scheduled departure, the deposit requirement will be negotiated based on the length of the charter and the timing. Payment Terms: · At contract signing we require an irrevocable Letter Of Credit (LOC) from a U.S. bank for the remaining balance, made in favor of Cruise West and payable at 90 days prior to departure. · If the client pays in full at 12 months prior to departure, we will provide a 3% discount on the remaining balance of the charter price. Cancellation terms: · Any time after contract signing - 10% of the charter price · At 12 months prior to departure the charter is under 100% cancellation penalty. · If the charter is for a non-scheduled date, the cancellation terms will be negotiated. Charter Prices: Charter prices are generally quoted net non-commissionable and all discounts and T/C's are included in the rate. We will quote a commissionable rate if requested to do so, however we require that a statement be included in the contract that there is a commission built into the charter prices so that the client signing the contract is fully aware that the agent is receiving a commission. Included in Your Charter Price: · All meals from embarkation to disembarkation. · All non-alcoholic beverages. · Services of an Exploration Leader and Cruise Director. · Shore excursions or activities as outlined in our brochures. · A/V equipment . · An itinerary as outlined in our brochure, or a customized itinerary of your choice. · Shipboard gratuities.
